Reading and analyzing full-length works in one genre, and writing an extensive graduate essay (25-50 pages) that demonstrates the student’s understanding of the history, tradition, various forms, and diverse styles of contemporary literatureStudents present a formal presentation at the subsequent residency to complete this course.

Requirements: Acceptance into the MFA program.
