PHA 552 - Principles of Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry

This will be an introductory course, the aims of which are to provide the principles of bioorganic and medicinal chemistry, including an understanding of drug structure-activity relationships, prediction of the physicochemical properties of a drug, basic knowledge of the major pathways of drug metabolism, and factors that can contribute to drug-drug interactions.

Pre-Requisites: CHM 231 - CHM 232 or CHM 235 - CHM 237
