CS 235 - Database Management

Students will learn the fundamental concepts of database systems including data modeling; query languages; database design and management including semi-structured and multimedia data. Additional attention is given to data security, distributed/cloud implementations and NoSQL databases.

Pre-Requisites: CS 126 with a grade of 2.0 or better.
Repeatable: May not be repeated for credit
Lecture: 3 hours per week
