PHA 310 - Clinical Research and Design Credits: 3
in order to apply current research to patient care activities, one must first develop the skills to interpret studies. The purpose of this course is to learn how research studies are designed to answer specific clinical questions, and how the study design is important in interpreting the results of the studies. Students will apply research design concepts and statistical techniques to design, critically analyze, and interpret preclinical, clinical, and economic studies of pharmaceuticals and treatment plans.
Pre-Requisites: MTH 150 or equivalent. Repeatable: May not be repeated for credit Lecture: 3 hours per week Requirements: P-1 standing or permission of instructor.
