Examination of health and pharmaceutical delivery in the U.S. conducted from a societal perspective. Emphasis is on public policy, economic behavior, and outcomes. Application will be made to various pharmaceutical sectors (e.g., retail, health, systems, manufacturing). Students should gain an understanding of the factors driving transFormation of health care delivery and the implications for future pharmacy practice.
