COM 260 - Media Writing and Reporting

Credits: 3

This course covers the fundamentals of newsgathering, newswriting, and news ethics. Students will discuss the use of news sources, fieldwork, research, and interview techniques. This course is writing intensive and focuses on news writing for print and digital sources, as well as relevant social media platforms and broadcast.
