NSG 318 - Nursing Roles in Leadership and Population Health


Credits: 6

This course provides a foundation in population health management with a foucus on nursing leadership utilizing the nursing process in community and population assessment, intervention, and evaluation of cultyrally diverse and vulnerable populations.  The student is prepared for professional role development in emerging health care delivery systems, serving as the primary contact with and advocating for patients, families, and the community with a focus on the physical, biological, social, psychological, and environmental influences on health.

Pre-Requisites: NSG 308  and NSG 309  
Co-requisites: NSG 319  and NSG 342
