PHL 361 - Philosophy of Race, Class and Gender Credits: 3
This course focuses on philosophical questions surrounding the concepts of race, gender and class. We examine various theoretical understandings of these concepts and how they are used in contemporary discourse. Most importantly, we investigate the ways in which gender, race, class and other aspects of social identity intersect to create overlapping relations of privilege and disadvantage.
