COM 326 - Documentary Production Credits: 3
This course explores the process of non-narrative documentary filmmaking. Emphasis will be placed on developing skills including topic identification, conceptualization, research, interviewing, directing, and editing. Students will produce two documentaries, and also learn how to conduct oral history interviews and integrate them into historical documentary projects. Students will gain knowledge of various documentary approaches through the screening and analysis of several significant documentary films.
