PHA 465 - Therapeutics of Medicinal Cannabis Credits: 3
Students will learn about therapeutic effects of cannabis, including its use in dependency, anorexia and cachexia in cancer patients, emesis, pain, migraines, muscle spasticity disorders, movement disorders, glaucoma, gynecology, dermatology, and the cardiovascular system. This course will also cover the risks and side effects, from a clinical perspective, of cannabis use during pregnancy, to the immune system, psyche and cognition, and the respiratory system.
Pre-Requisites: PHA 463 Terms Offered: Fall Repeatable: May not be repeated for credit
