GEO 281 - Mineralogy Credits: 4
The systematic study of the major classes of the mineral kingdom utilizing the department’s collection. Concepts in crystal chemistry, crystal structure, mineral behavior, crystallography and optical mineralogy are studied and advanced techniques in mineral analysis are used.
