ENV 305 - Solid Waste Management

Credits: 3

Assessment of the scope of the solid waste problem and engineering and management strategies. Lecture topics include the following: solid waste sources; characterization and generation rates; collection and transportation technologies and management options; sanitary landfill design and operation; and recycling strategies and technologies.

Pre-Requisites: ENV 240   or permission of instructor.
Repeatable: May not be repeated for credit
Lecture: 3 hours per week
