CS 246 - C and Unix


Credits: 4

An introduction to using Unix operating systems, including shells, file manipulation, text and stream editors, filters, and regular expressions.  Scripting in Bash and AWK.  Fundamentals of C programming, including loops, arrays, bit manipulation, functions, recursion, pointers, structures, unions, input/output, dynamic memory allocation and deallocation, and system calls.

Pre-Requisites: CS 125  or EGR 140 with grade of 2.0 or better, OR equivalent programming experience.
Repeatable: May not be repeated for credit
