COM 324 - Communication Research Methods I


Credits: 3

A study of the basic foundations in the theory and practice of communication research. The course will review the varied concepts and methods used in designing and conducting research specific to the discipline of Communication Studies and introduce students to the process of applying to the Institutional Review Board for research permission involving human subjects. Emphasis on ability to hone research topics, identify research sources, and write literature reviews. Required of all majors.

Pre-Requisites: COM 102  and COM 260
