CHM 362 - Biochemistry: Metabolism Credits: 3
This course presents a study of the catabolism and anabolism of carbohydrates, fatty acids, and amino acids. The course emphasizes the regulation and integration of major metabolic pathways, including glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, electron transport, gluconeogenesis, pentose phosphate pathway, fatty acid metabolism, and amino acid metabolism.
Pre-Requisites: CHM 232 with a grade of 2.0 or higher. Repeatable: May not be repeated for credit Lecture: 3 hours per week
