PHA 405 - Pharmaceutical Care Systems: Design and Control

Credits: 2

Examines delivery of pharmaceutical products and services from a systems perspective in a variety of patient care settings. Focus is upon effectiveness, efficiency, and quality. Covers design of systems, establishment and monitoring of key indicators, total quality management, and quality assurance agencies (e.g., JCAHO, NCQA).

Lecture: 2 hours per week
Requirements: P2 standing or permission of instructor.
