Criminology Minor

A minor in Criminology consists of 18 hours, including SOC 101:  IntroductorySociology, SOC 222 - Criminology , plus 12 additional credits.  For the Criminology minor, students can choose to take 12 credits from the list of options below:

  • Any Sociology course
  • PS 232 - Criminal Law
  • PS 233 - Law & Society
  • PS 332 - Civil Rights and Civil Liberties
  • PSY 252 -  Abnormal Psychology
  • PSY 355 - Forensic Psychology
  • EC 320 - Economics of Crime

Content Area I: Economics (3 Hours)


Content Area II: Political Science (3 Hours)


Content Area III: Psychology (3 Hours)
