EE 339 - Engineering Electromagnetics II


Credits: 4

Obtain an understanding of Maxwell’s equations and be able to apply them to solving practical electromagnetic field problems. Fundamental concepts covered will include laws governing electrodynamics, plane wave propagation indifferent media, power flow, polarization, transmission and reflection at an interface, microwave networks, waveguides, radiation, and antennas. Experiment and computer simulation based laboratories are used to reinForce the course material.

Pre-Requisites: EE 337 .
Terms Offered: Spring
Repeatable: May not be repeated for credit
Lecture: 3 hours per week
Lab: 3 hours per week
