ED 555 - Classroom Management: Orchestrating A Community of Learners Credits: 3
This course equips experienced and beginning K-12educators with current, research-validated concepts andstrategies for orchestrating classroom life and learning so thatinstruction flows smoothly, student misbehavior is minimized,and learning potential is maximized. Participants will learnstrategies associated with seven key areas of expertise thatcollectively contribute to a teacher’s classroom managementeffectiveness.ED 541 through ED 561 , ED 5020 , ED 5024 , and ED5401-5405 were developed by educators at PLS 3rd Learning.The coursework is tightly structured, utilizing programmedlearning with integrated audio-visual materials. Studentsconduct research in their own classrooms and report regularlyon their success in employing strategies taught.
