ED 553 - Brain-Based Ways We Think and Learn

This course will explore the four basic thinking skills ofinduction, deduction, analysis, and synthesis. Students willexperience, model, and internalize specific techniques ofbrain-based teaching and learning and will integrate thinkingprocesses into real-life applications.ED 541  through ED 561 , ED 5020 , ED 5024 , and ED5401-5405 were developed by educators at PLS 3rd Learning.The coursework is tightly structured, utilizing programmedlearning with integrated audio-visual materials. Studentsconduct research in their own classrooms and report regularlyon their success in employing strategies taught.
