PHA 450 - Neuropharmacology of Drugs of Abuse

Credits: 3

In-depth analysis of drugs of abuse, including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, tolerance, sensitization, physical dependence, and effects of drug use during pregnancy. Drug testing and substance abuse treatment strategies will also be discussed.

Pre-Requisites: PHA 421  or permission of instructor
Lecture: 3 hours per week
