ED 578 - Staff Development and Supervision

Credits: 3

This course focuses on staff development and teacher supervision. Models of supervision, such as clinical supervision and differentiated supervision, are examined. Case studies will be utilized to gain understanding of the teacher evaluation process. Mentoring and new teacher induction programs will be investigated. An overview of the laws and policies, which influence and govern these programs will be included. Required for K-12 principal certification.
