ED 523 - Administrative Leadership in Curriculum and Instruction

This course familiarizes future principals with the nature of curriculum and the impact of national and state standards on the instructional program. The importance of the role of the principal in developing an organizational structure for curricular change to provide the most appropriate instructional environment for all students will be embedded throughout the course. This course requires a 30 hour field experience focusing on school curriculum leadership.
